I have been hosting with this company almost since they started (1996).  The technical support is almost non-existant and has gotten worse.  Their level of help is something like "see the round button on the front of the computer.  Push it in to turn the computer on." We've been billed for deleted domains.  We've been billed to receive statements by mail and never received them.  When we began transferring sites, they contacted one of our clients directly and tried to sell them.  In November of 2000, they instituted the "6-month contract." They informed their existing customers via a newsletter (or so they say) and assumed that if you didn't cancel your service you were agreeing to that 6-month contract.  I don't recall seeing that newsletter. When I cancelled my service on Aug. 1, 2002, they charged me for 3 months remaining in the 6-month contract.  Not only that, but their records indicate that I pay by check.  They charged my wife's debit card which they had on file because I had used it in the past once or twice.  The charge was unauthorized and a surprise.  The capper is that a customer service manager called me after all this and tried to sell me on their "new" hosting plan.  He said they would drop the $300+ cancellation fee if we would agree to a new contract.  I think they call that extortion. As of 8/17/02, nothing has been resolved.
