Poor implementation, spotty support.  Once it took 5 days to set up an email account.  Finally got 'dedicated' support rep, but when I had a problem he never even bothered to reply.  Ruined my business, I'm moving ASAP and expect to get hosed as their billing is even worse than their service!

There are always major problems with their servers and Webmail system. We have lost a lot of emails to and from our customers because these emails were not delivered.

We will leave this company VERY SOON and NEVER EVER back to them.

The Tech support team is obviously overloaded and inefficient.

There are so many problems with this company to list them here because it is just waste of time to talk about such a company.

If someone is going to consider this company hosting company, I would STRONGLY recommend to think about this idea more than twice.

UNHAPPY AIT customer

Poor customer Service at AIT - Review by submitted on July 3, 2003

This is what I wrote on their cancellation form:

Poor customer service. I had been a user of AIT for years and have recommended AIT to many others. Over the years though I have had quite a few problems and they took forever to correct.

The latest being trying to cancel this account. I began calling on Friday 6/27 seeing as how this was the last day of my monthly contract. I was unable to get through to a human being and no one returned my calls.

On Monday 6/30 the same thing. On Tues 7/1 I got through to someone who said they were going to email me the information with the URL and that email never came. I called again yesterday 7/2 and left a message with the QA department to call me and never received a call back. I called again today, got the tech support recording, left my name and number and waited some more. I finally called the sales department. AMAZING - they answered on the first ring ready to take my order and my money!!!! They put me through to the QA dept. again and once more I left a message to contact me.

Well lo and behold I finally get a call from someone who seems to know what they are doing - Yolanda Schmidt - I have told her why I am leaving AIT and that I am appalled at how the quality of service has deteriorated in the last few years.  As a matter of fact I started doing searhes on the web for a new hosting service and discovered that AIT has slipped in the eyes of many.

To be honest with you all, AIT's billing department is extremely fast when it comes to taking and processing your payments.
AIT's tech support is EXTREMELY poor, they slack off and don't know what they are doing.  It takes them an average of 12 hours to respond to the most simplest questions.  Setup takes one DAY instead of one HOUR as promised.
Due to all these, I decided to cancel my account but they wouldn't let you, they keep charging my credit card so that I had to change my credit card number.  Their Quality Assurance mananger is a big liar too.
In conclusion, I have only one word to describe AIT: "SUCK".  That is AIT sucks.

I started with this company a month and a half ago.  They haven't gotten anything right.  There KB is virtually non-existant.  They can't get the sites set up right.  Calling tech support means staying on hold for about 7 minutes after which they ask you to leave a message but never bother to call back.  The 24/7 online support never gets answered either.  I've spent 11 hours just trying to get "fmail", the ONLY form processor they allow on their site, to work.  I've gotten three wrong answers from tech support and there is NO documentation for virtual servers.  I could go on forever.  Just save yourself grief and don't use them. I've just moved these sites once and as soon as I can find a replacement they are going to be moved again.

Poor service, worse implementation - Review by Jim de la Bastide submitted on June 15, 2003

Things went well with ordering the space, but that was about it.

First, it says they will take up to 5 days to get the site ready.  Fine, I can deal, but if you ever set up IIS, you very well know you can do it in well under 2 hours.  Should have known something was wrong at this point.

So after 2 weeks, they finally figured out how to start a computer and set up IIS.  Unfortunately, I guess they didn't know how to set up a domain name and register the services.  So we have to log in via the IP adress.  No biggie.

The control panel that they provide might be the most unprofessional and simple thing I have ever seen.  Fact is, I have seen much much better from FREE hosting sites.

Needless to say, I called and got my money back.  It has been about a month and half and they still have not released my domain name, so that it can be transferred to my new service.  I probably could have set up my own hosting company during this time period and have done a much better job.

AIT is flat out terrible and possibly the worst service out there.

We started with AIT in 1997 and it was fine for a couple of years.  We are still hosting some stuff there, but not for long.  We scaled back our presence there and would have pulled out completely in Jan. 2000 were it not for our dependence on their Mcart shopping carts.  We finally wrote our own cart program so we could nuke these losers and move our remaining sites to a dedicated server at Rackshack.  I have horror stories about AIT on which I could dwell for hours, but let's just say that AIT's attitude no matter what happens is "punish the customer." They feel free to mess with your stuff whenever they feel like it, change your deal on a whim, and generally suck! Big-time weasels! We are planning a big crew party for after we blow them up; we'll call it "Operation AIT Freedom!"

I had a web site there for several years.  When I moved, AIT continued to bill me for "service" on an account that was closed.  When I wouldn't pay, they ruined my credit.  I could not even talk to credit manager about it.  Bad guys!

they will think of all the ways possible to keep your money. i switched from one plan to another because it was the same plan for less money. the customer service person i spoke with and the web site failed to inform me that the lower rate required a six months commitment. when i looked at my bill and saw the additional amount, i called customer service and they said they would switch me back. the cs rep. looked for the notice and told me i would have to go to a special page to see where six months commitment was required. huh!the next day when i looked at my bill there was a credit for the remainder of the money less my regular monthly fee, which they had charged me for 4 days early. again i called customer service and spoke to a women who said that all she could do was put in a request for a refund. a request! for a refund. i told her that was outrageous and i wanted to speak with her sup. when she came to the phone she said that is how it is done. i called today and spoke with a man who said all he can say is the vice president will have to look over the request. mind you, it was not clearly stated by asterisk, etc. that it was a six months commitment for the price nor was i told by the first guy i spoke with about this. so we shall see what will happen.
oh btw they did return the money to my account as a credit. did i ask for a credit? they had no problem getting the money but they do have severe problems in returning it.
i cannot anwser tech. question about ait because i was parking my domain there and it is not until now that i am going to put up a site that i see who i have.
as mad as i was i did some research on ait and got the follwing info from the bbb. "Based on BBB files, this company has an unsatisfactory record with the Bureau due to one or more unanswered complaints."
Buyer Beware!

I'm still with AIT and I"m trying to move at this moment. I 1st lost my 3 best accounts to the company because they cut off my account because they didn't recieve my check in time. (I refuse to give them a credit card) My customers left me to go direct with AIT.  AIT also offers unfair pricing. It's cheaper for my customers to go around me and go direct with AIT. for only $4.99 you can have 100 megs of webspace and if you are a reseller it cost you $59 plus $4 each month for each domain name. And you only get 400 megs. Well considering you can get 100 megs for only $5 bucks I should have 1000 megs! But this is only the begining.  They screwed up the accounting installing new billing software and some ghost invoices kept popping up and they send me a bill that was 3 YEARS OLD.  I told them how in the HELL do you make a mistake 3 years old and just now try to bill me for it. Because of my deep distrust for AIT I happened to have a print out of their old webpage with my billing on it and I faxed it to them and then that was not proof enough and I went through 9 people and HOURS AND HOURS of waiting on hold and retelling my story to every fool up there that had never heard it.  I know them on a 1st name basis. I'd like to say hello to Sherry the only girl that would believe me and the only one in accounting that was able to make sense out of their own billing software and found that AIT OWED ME MONEY.  HOW ABOUT THAT? I got a rebate and I demanded a free month of service.  I want you to know it took EXACTLY 1 YEAR TO THE DAY to get this mess straighted out.  They would say everything is okay and then threaten to cut off my account again and again. They will steal your customers, your money and underbid you on price.  WHAT A COMPANY TO DO BUSINESS WITH.  You might as well bend over because your in for the screw of your life if you can't prove anything.  And I don't know how much trouble it's going to be it get away from them.  I'm sure I"m in for a fight as many have told me they have had to sue the company to get any justice.

Never host with a company that takes your money and doesn’t give you service.

I was charged $64 dollars for not using AIT's server. Yes I know that $64 is a small amount of money and some people have lost +$1000 but if I didn't use the resources, why should I be charged. Also if you want to close your account you must talk to a "quality assurance representative"(apparently this guy is not doing his job). I had to e-mail him, since he didn't work on Friday's(go figure), and instead of canceling my account he added more services to my account after I closed it. It's been over 2 months now and every time I call they tell me that I should see my refund in 5 days, yeah right. I could go on and if you want to see my report e-mail me. Luckily I have every call documented. Do yourself a favor and host with another company.

I hosted with this company and I was very surprized how these guys were so terrible in technical and billing side... I had a site in turkish and transfered that site to Ait. After the transfer, many of my scripts didnt worked and I coudnt run my site for a hole week. I still dont want to think about how my reputation fell down... anyways, i coudnt get the right support from their tech staff to solve my problems. It was a weird time. They coudnt explain the problem or they dindt care! my scripts were working in other two hosting companies that I worked with when I made the necessary changes, those companies are from USA n Canada. I decided to cancel immediately after coming across some reviews about them by chance. Because I canceled before one month, thanks to those reviews again, they had to refund my money except the setup fee. to cancel they want me to fax a cancellation request from Turkey. that was stupid too.. after i checked my next statement I saw the refund with another monthly fee... So i had to write them again to fix that... they fixed that problem in my next statement but that was enough headache for a 2 weeks hosting...

1) Poor PHP support - the PHP mail function did not work and they refused to fix it.
2) They overwrote my file type mappings in httpd.config without notice, breaking my site.
3) Confusing billing - they sometimes skip a month and double bill the next. They include a bunch of charges for free stuff, and then discounts of the same amounts.
4) They suddenly doubled the price per hosted domain.
5) They changed fine print in the contract, leading to a $255 surprise account cancellation charge! Apparently the change was only announced in their spam-style email newsletters.

Stay away from AIT. I moved to ICDSoft.com and have been very happy since ($5/mo for first acct, $4/mo for additional accts, no expensive reseller account needed).

They refused to credit domain name registration fees, as their site says they do when you register through them; when I filled out the setup form and listed two domain names, it accepted them - no error message - and when they opened only one of the domains, tried to charge me a rename fee for getting the domain I wanted on that account; and when I asked them to just refund the money, they pointed out - laughing - that they don't refund the setup fee, even though in this case they did it wrong.  And, you can't cancel - you have to talk to someone who's never there, and fill out a form that they don't post on their site, and fax it to a number that they don't list.  Check the owners, Kafka must be in there somewhere.  Less than 24 hours and I've seen enough to know that this will NOT be a good experience.

I've hosted with them since early 1997.  When things go well, they're fine, but their tech support is horrible. Site goes down, I submit a ticket and......nothing.  E-mail goes down and I submit a ticket.......nothing.  I have to call and call and call and call to get any help and usually they fix 1/2 the problem and I have to start all over again.  Trust me, I've been through this for over 5 years with them, but maybe it's time for a change.  In 1997-98, they were good, but their tech support employees have gone way, way down hill.

At the peak of our involvement with AIT we were spending over 1000/month with a Server 3+ Account. We were looking into upgrading this account to handle more clients but things went from bad to worse.

Tech Support: Absolutely morons. As a Premium Reseller our clinets were givin a premium dns...which AIT pulled w/o warning taking all our sites down. It took us three weeks to repair that damage. No apologies were issued and certainly no refunds for lost service. That was the worst. We have a log of tech support nightmares here that is close to book size.

Billing: AIT systematically stole money from us for months. Over charges, charges for services we never agreed to. They would offer you a free folder on their secure sever so you could resell domain names for them only to AIT free means 225.00 setup and $XX/month. I finally had to hire a temp to unravel the bookeeping nightmare. We eventually got all our money back but I had to pay 3 month wages to our new AIT bookeeper.

Domain Names: Most recently I received an email from AIT informming me that Register.com was trying to transfer a domain. As instruced by AIT's email we declined the transfer. AIT approved it and the domain is gone to Register.com. Do you think I'll ever see that one again. Do you think AIT will refund my clients money who did not want it transfered?

1. Their tech support is worthless...they must hire Burger King's finest to provide dis-service
2. Their sites go down - we were down for the entire FIRST week - 7 days total!

A good, solid hosting package - Review by Anonymous submitted on September 12, 2002

I've been hosting with AIT for the last 2 years without any problems.  Any time I've had an issue it's been resolved in a reasonable time.  At least, faster than it has been in other hosting packages I have elsewhere.

The billing is a little weak.  I have a simple package so haven't experienced many problems, but on occasion receive a credit card declined notice when it's not declined.  The system tries again later, and usually it goes in without a problem, but I do verify to make sure.

As for the 6 month contract, it's better than the 1 year contract I have with another provider.

Definitely been a pleasure.

If you want to find the least responsive, least reliable service on the planet then stop right here.
My experience w/them has been awful from day 1, incorrect billing spanning 6 months which then took another month to resolve. 6 weeks of "unscheduled server maintenance" which meant MOndays filled w/dread as to whether our sites would be up and email waiting. No courtesy calls or proper tracking of ticket #'s. Appalling technical and billing support.

For the love of God, trust all the other reviews on this site.  These people are EVIL.  No, I'm not joking or making a crank post.  The last two months have been a nightmare because of these people and their non-existant technical/billing support.  And no matter what they tell you, upgrading your plan will NOT help solve your problems.  Move to another host company.  I wouldn't trust AIT to wash my car, let alone host my web site.

I have been hosting with this company almost since they started (1996).  The technical support is almost non-existant and has gotten worse.  Their level of help is something like "see the round button on the front of the computer.  Push it in to turn the computer on." We've been billed for deleted domains.  We've been billed to receive statements by mail and never received them.  When we began transferring sites, they contacted one of our clients directly and tried to sell them.  In November of 2000, they instituted the "6-month contract." They informed their existing customers via a newsletter (or so they say) and assumed that if you didn't cancel your service you were agreeing to that 6-month contract.  I don't recall seeing that newsletter. When I cancelled my service on Aug. 1, 2002, they charged me for 3 months remaining in the 6-month contract.  Not only that, but their records indicate that I pay by check.  They charged my wife's debit card which they had on file because I had used it in the past once or twice.  The charge was unauthorized and a surprise.  The capper is that a customer service manager called me after all this and tried to sell me on their "new" hosting plan.  He said they would drop the $300+ cancellation fee if we would agree to a new contract.  I think they call that extortion. As of 8/17/02, nothing has been resolved.

AIT's Billing Dept. is FUBAR - Review by submitted on August 14, 2002

Would be that I heeded the warnings posted not only on this site but many others as well.
AIT has simply the worst accounting/billing services department I have ever dealt with.
I have hosted two domains with AIT, one personal and one Business.  With both accounts, I have experienced multiple problems with the billing/accounting department AND the people who run it.

First, with my personal web host account, I provided my credit card number and was told that my card would be automatically billed each month.  Then, for the next several months, I had to deal with calling AIT to turn my site back on after they had decided that I had not paid my bill and turned it off.  I would check my credit card account and, sure enough, they had debited my card. I would ask why my site was disabled if they had charged my credit card and the typical answer I would get would be: “I don’t know, I’m sorry, we’ll open a trouble ticket.” Then, anywhere from an hour to a couple of days later, I would receive an e-mail stating that my site was back up.  No explanation, no compensation for down time.  Until I recently canceled my personal account, I would still receive an e-mail each month telling me that I had not paid my bill or that there was a problem charging my credit card.

The last straw…I made the mistake of opening another account with AIT for business use.  I thought, “well, maybe if I pay a year in advance, I won’t have any billing problems.” If you’re wondering why I opened a second account with AIT, I actually thought the technical side of their services worked reasonably well and I was familiar with the control panel interface.  Well, right off the bat, they charged my credit card twice for the year’s worth of service.  I called AIT and requested that the double-dip of my credit card be corrected.  I waited several weeks until my credit card statement came.  Sure enough, the charge was still there.  So, I call the credit card company and they open a dispute with AIT. Meanwhile, the credit card company credits my account for the double charge.  Months go by and one day, my business web site is disabled.  No e-mail notification, no phone call, nothing from AIT.  AGAIN, I’m on the phone, only to learn that the credit card company finally got around to requesting a charge-back from AIT for the money the credit card company had previously retuned to me.  Because of AIT’s poopy accounting/billing processes, they believed that they had already returned the money from the “double-dip” when in reality they hadn’t.  And, I was told by an accounts manager that AIT’s policy was to immediately disable an account if a charge-back request is received from a credit card company.  When I explained that there was obviously some problem between AIT and the credit card company and asked if they would enable my web site while the problem was resolved, I was told emphatically that AIT would not enable the web site until the charge-back was reversed by the credit card company. This, EVEN though they HAD been paid, TWICE and never returned the original double charge until the request came in recently.  At that point, AIT thought they had returned the money twice and subsequently disabled my account.  When I questioned their policy and asked if they could make an exception and PLEASE enable my account since none of this was my problem, I was told (with an attitude) that AIT’s CEO had established the policy and there was nothing he could/would do.  I was then informed by e-mail that not only would my web site remain disabled, but the account had been remanded to the collections department and my contract would be “accelerated” to term, even though there were still 5 months left on the year’s worth of service I had paid for, in advance, TWICE!!!

After two very frustrating weeks of dealing with AIT’s billing personnel on the phone, (I spent no less that 8 hours on the phone and God only knows how many e-mails!) it came out that AIT had screwed up my original request regarding the double charge and never returned any money to the credit card company.

Suffice to say, when my 1 year contract is up in January 2003, I will move by business web site to the same hosting company I moved my personal site to.  (Gee, with a different hosting company, I was up and running in ten minutes and, I was charged only once for the service.  How novel…)

AIT is the most unprofessional and unethical company I have ever had the dis-pleasure of dealing with.  I regret the day I ever heard of them....  Basically, here is my story: I was made aware of their hostage clause (the one that locks you into a 6 month contract) just in time to cancel my account.  (I received an email from someone who had this problem and he wanted to warn me.) So of course, I cancelled right away.  I cancelled online, first.  Then I received a form that I had to fax in order for my cancellation to be completed.  Well, I faxed it, and faxed it, and faxed it again.  Long story short, AIT "lost" my fax FIVE!!!! times before finally cancelling my account two months later.  I was charged for those two months of UNWANTED hosting time.  I had already switched companies so AIT did absolutely NOTHING but lose my fax over and over again.  They finally refunded ONE of the months, but I had to "dispute" the charge for the other month, with my bank, and I'm still in cue for that one...  Customer Service is terrible, the absolute worst, I've ever seen!! Their representatives are clueless and they promise things that NEVER happen.  (I was promised a refund several times, never got it... I was promised that account was being cancelled; took two months.... I was promised that "Fax is in hand!!" and then they promptly lost the fax again.) I asked many many times for email or written confirmations of all that I'd been told.  It was NEVER received.  I asked many, many times to speak with a manager or a billing representative and the customer service people were not allowed to transfer me to them!!! I could not get past the customer service desk to save my life; and I never did!!! After two months of this run-around, I finally reported them to the Better Business Bureau AND I had the charge reversed by my bank.  BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE do not ever trust this company, as they do not deserve your trust.  They lie, they steal, they misrepresent, they confuse, they disrespect, and they cheat their customers.  Check them out at the Better Business Bureau's website: they have a bad rating!!! I think that anyone who has posted positive reviews on here is actually an employee of AIT and they are just putting the review in to look better.  But that is just my opinion.  AIT IS THE WORST COMPANY IN THE WORLD... again, just my opinion.

I was a reseller under AIT for 3 long years. They are the worst!
Constant problems with customer sites and AIT is a billing nightmare. I was over charged by them constantly and had to watch the billing very closely. You can delete a domain and they will keep right on charging you for it indefinetely unless you scream. Slow loading and unreliable.
Stay away from this one.

DO NOT USE AIT UNLESS YOU LIKE LOSS - Review by Steve submitted on July 27, 2002

I have hosted a number of domains with AIT over the past 6 years and have had a number of nightmares. I stayed with them so long because I have so many domains with them and I remained hopeful they would get their act together. But unfortunately they have not. Here are some examples of the problems I have experienced:

I have lost all my content twice...ALL! They said they had an "unscheduled maintenance/reboot". In other words, their servers crashed with no back-up. Fortunately I had back-up, but I had to spend about two weeks each time guiding their techies through the process of getting the setting correct on their end so things would work again. Both my clients and I lost a lot of money each time this happened and all AIT said is that they would credit the downtime...but they never did.

I have had numerous server problem and over charges that their own tech people could not figure out until I explained it over and over, not to mention the long distance phone calls at my expense. They completely lost client shopping carts several times!

Now here's a topper: AIT's web site is http://www.aitcom.net and for months they decided to charge me for hosting their own site under my reseller account. After numerous email, I called tech support and here's they response I got, "Yuk, Yuk, Well I never heard of such a thing. Ah don't know what to do!?!".

I've remained a loyal customer even through all this. Now I'm going through ridiculous billing errors with overcharges that are nothing short of robbery.

DO NOT USE AIT UNLESS YOU LIKE TO LOOSE DATA, HAVE YOUR SITE DOWN, AND HAVE YOU MONEY STOLEN FOR NOTHING!

Because of their cleverly hidden details in their contract, my account and domain is held hostage until November. But after that it's time to cut my losses and get out ASAP!

Very few hosting services allow YOU to be a web host.  With minimal overhead, I have become a web host, providing inexpensive web hosting services to local (and some not-so-local) companies.  They have their own domain name and their customers have no idea that either I, or AIT, is involved.  I control all my websites with one Control Panel.

There have been a few glitches over the years, but I'm on my 4h year with AIT and I'm happy.

At my rates, 3 website customers allow me to break even on my AIT bill. Currently, my 12 customers allow me to make a decent profit.  Website design makes me more than the hosting, but the fact that I do it all keeps my customers satisfied.

I feel that I have near total control with minimal difficulties.

I have two complaints about this company.

Problem 1. On June 25, 2002, they called me and claimed that on May 3, 2002, I used 1232 meg of disk space. This is 732 more than I am allowed. Aitcom charges $.99 per meg in overages.  They waited over a month to notify me. While I did have a disk problem at that time, it was not as high as they claim (See Note A below). I replied that I wanted a detailed file by file listing of my disk usage on that day so I could verify the problem. I am able see real time disk usage anytime I want, so I assumed that Aitcom could see it also. Aitcom claims that all they have are daily totals. They claim that there is no way they can show me the detail. So they charged my Credit Card $727.00 with no way to back it up. Unlike other companies, they don’t send a warning that you are overrunning disk space.

On July 9, 2002, they call me and claimed that on June 8, 2002, I used 887 meg of disk space. This is 387 more than I am allowed. They waited over a month to notify me. I knew of no disk problems at this time. Again, they refused to provide detail but charged my Credit Card $387.00 with no way to back it up.

Since my monthly rental, runs around $160.00, this $1000.00 + bill just about puts me out of business. Before these “problems”, I was using 444 meg of disk space and after these “problems”, I was using 350 meg.

Problem 2. During my research of the problem, I discovered that the of the 500 meg disk that I am supposed to have, usage shows that over 29 percent (103 meg) of my disk space is used by the operating system. For Aitcom to say I have 500 meg when it is only 397 is fraud! Would you like to buy a half ton truck from Ford but then be happy when you found out that you could only carry 500 pound because the engine weighed 500 pounds. That would be fraud!

After several phone calls, I realized that Aitcom would tell me one thing over the phone and then retract it by email with a more expensive option. All they wanted me to do was sign up for the $400-500 per month accounts. I can’t afford that.

Lots of promises, poor delivery. I agree with other posters, that tech support is simply inadequate to deal with half of the problems I encounter, and it's nearly impossible to get tickets escalated. Also, outages come with no warning, and even getting AIT to acknowledge them is a problem. Access has seemed very slow the last 6 months... seems they have oversold. Billing is a nightmare... they make mistakes. No email basics like virus scan or web email. Very poor technical documentation on their website. Stingy disk space allocation. I could not recommend AIT. They get a "3", because I've experienced worse.

The AIT customer hostage clause - Review by Anonymous submitted on June 4, 2002

I never had cause to complain about uptime or technical support at AIT, although the sites I maintained there were fairly simple. But I recently learned the hard way about AIT's customer hostage clause. AIT implemented a policy late last year under which customers are automatically re-enrolled every six months in a contract for service that includes an early termination penalty clause. It was buried in one of those obtuse Terms of Service agreements that few people ever really read. Essentially, the clause says that unless you cancel within 30 days of your six-month anniversary date, you must nevertheless pay for the balance of the remaining months of your "contract." How this contract clause can be valid is a mystery, since it extends absolutely no benefit to the customer (there's no discount offered in return for accepting the early cancellation penalty). It is purely punitive and restrictive. A company that respects its customers and is confident about its customer service would never need or want to implement such a clause. I guess AIT figures it is pissing off their customers so much that they needed to come up with a way to keep their business -- thus the customer hostage clause. Stay away from them. If you already host with AIT, be sure you know when your anniversary date is if (when!) you want to cancel.

I have been with them a long time. They have recently implemented many changes without notice. Billing department has always been a nightmare, but now all departments have become a nightmare. Tech support does not seem to actually read the support questions before rendering an answer. And the answer is that it is not their fault. DO NOT sign up with this company. I am still removing sites, that is why I do not say who I am. If I do, they may make matters even worse, although that would be difficult.

I am only speaking from the experiences I have had dealing with AITCOM.

This is one of the most unprofessional companies I have ever dealt with. During the short tenure my company had with them I have submitted over 15 trouble tickets, mostly dealing with email outage. Their tech support is just flat out horrendous. All you get from them is a statement saying that this problem has been passed on to the next support level. I had one trouble ticket that was passed on to the “next” level of support six times, how many levels of support do they need?

They will not let you speak to management; you actually have to request a manager to contact you. Oh by the way, they have yet to return any of my calls.

AITCOM failed to meet their 99% up time guarantee, wasn’t even close. AIT will still expect you to pay for services not rendered, or should I say in this cast, half rendered.

I fail to see how this company remains in business, in my opinion your money is better spent else where.

Service response was both slow and uninformative.  Also experienced several major billing questions (one was over $600.00) which have yet to be addressed with any satisfaction

I signed up for service and after 6 days I was still unable to even log into the site. The customer service people kept sending me e-mails (33 of them) that it was being fixed. They would tell me that they were able to log in, but whenever I tried from my plain vanilla Windows ME system I could never get in. After finally cancelling, they told me they would keep my setup fee, even though I was never able to ever log in and upload anything. I switched to a local provider called WebHaus in CA and was up in 30 minutes. My recommendation is to never ever use AIT...as Seinfeld would say, "Its the worst Jerry, the WORST"!
