I signed up and paid an extra $99 for a SSL certificate along with $200 for 1 year of service. I waited and waited but they NEVER installed my certificate, I filed 5 trouble tickets all of which gave me the run around and one even lied telling me they could not create the ssl until I transferred my domain which is totally untrue. Finally after over 2 weeks I had enough and told them to just refund my money for the ssl and I would still try the hosting services, I can get my own SSL. They IGNORED my request and never responded to the trouble ticket, after 3 days of their tactics I signed up with another company and told dot5 to cancel my account and refund my money since I was still in the 30 day refund period, they again IGNORED my request. I had to mass mail them to even get a response which told me to wait until Wednesday(almost a week) when their refund person would be in. Wendsday came and went and there was no refund. They are clearly delaying me until I am out of the 30 day period so they can claim I did not reques any refund and keep my money, there is no other reason for them to keep delaying. Also my websites were down for 2 days and they NEVER bothered to respond to the trouble ticket to fix their server problem, when they did respond all they could say was 'what websites?' they clearly did not read the trouble tickets that were STILL OPEN. I am now going to file a fraud claim with my credit card company and the Texas Atty General about their dishonest tactics.
