I signed up for dot5hosting in late August 2002 and was delighted. I experienced some bad downtime in early November, but aside from this I was very pleased. Most certainly a great price for some great servers.
Support has never been fantastic when something has gone wrong, but when signing up or asking general questions, it has been excellent.
But - in the past few days my site has been down. It has been now over 80 hours since the server has functioned correctly. The support has been very poor - it wouldn't take a few minutes to post updates on their forums, but these have been few and far between.
They've promised to restore everything, but the longer it takes, the longer I have to browse this excellent site looking for a better deal.
The prices do offer a good deal, but if you are after reliability, I don't think this is a good choice. They have been brilliant for the past six months, but recent events have really spoiled my viewpoint.
