I wish I would have done some research before deciding to host with Entryhost.com.  I had been hosting my domains with Registerfly (which I had had no problems with), and since Registerfly was offering an easy way to provide hosting, I took it. 

The cooperation between Registerfly and Entryhost is non-existent.  Registerfly offers 'unlimited' e-mail forwarding, for example, but if you host with Entryhost, you only get 1.  I tried using Registerfly's DNS to 'point' the site to Entryhost's servers, but it didn't work (Entryhost uses some unorthodox DNS entries) and Registerfly's tech support (what a joke, those guys can't even speak decent English) were no help.

Then, my FTP account stopped working (the password was invalid all of a sudden).  The site started losing images and throwing 403 errors.  I sent in a ticket right away, but got no response for over 24 hours.  I e-mailed their 'feedback' e-mail and actually got a response from a 'Global Domain Manager' who said he would investigate my problem and help me right away.  He didn't even reply to my repeated e-mails over the next 48 hours until I informed him that I was requesting a refund.

Avoid Entryhost like the plague!!

Thanks to this site, my client's site is now happily running on ICDSoft's hosting plan.

i used to this setup emailing hosting for my parents. they been using this host for 6 weeks... it was down for 1 week during the first month. they are half way into the second month and it's been down for 3 days already! this host is complete crap. don't use it. or you'll regret it, like me.

I begged and pleaded for help, and all i got was WEEKS of non-responsive hoobly-gobbly (if they responded at all) I was constantly IGNORED.  And when someone finally responded, THEY DIDN'T KNOW WHAT THEY WERE TALKING ABOUT.  ARRGGGHH!!

Please do some research before commiting to any host.  But consider yourself WARNED.  These people WILL DISAPOINT YOU.

I have lost so much business, been threatened with lawsuits by customers, and spent hours begging someone at entry host to get my site up after it comes down for 72 hours for a server upgrade that i was not notified about.  This happens at least once every 3 weeks.  THIS IS THE WORST BUSINESS IN THE WORLD, MUCH LESS ON THE INTERNET.  AVOID, AVOID, AVOID. I"M REPORTING TO BBB.

Servers up less than 1/2 the time, 24/7 support is a flat out lie, lousy communication.  I complained about service, so they suspended my account.  Now I cannot even get in contact with (non-existant) support.  Registerfly/EntryHost is a re-seller for registrar enom.com.  Enon.com DOES have support, and DOES answer the phone, but they say they cannot help, I have to go thru registerfly/entryhost, which is not possible.  Absolutely horrible experience, too expensive if it was free.

Absolutely incorrect. We BLOCKED your hosting account just because of SPAMMING. And even you yourself know that too. We told you to contact the System Admin but you ran off cause you knew the truth.

In the past, I had taken pop access for granted.  I thought I would venture into more than just forwarding.  My e-mail works on such a sparring basis that I had to get another "free address" all of my support claims are sesponded to slowly (every time they "fix" something it just means my e-mail has no chance of working for about 3 days).

Servers were rarely, if ever up.  My customers were able to access the site MAYBE 50% of the time.  No supposrt whatsoever, most links on page go nowhere, just a big mistake to ever have used them.  Would be too expensive to use even if free.

I started by registering domains with registerfly and saw that they offered email hosting and web hosting.  Further, but not enough inspection showed me that another company handled it.  Here is where Entryhost.com comes into play.  I ordered the WebPro hosting service and Email hosting service for the domain and while I must be fair, the web hosting works fine but I am not getting all of the things that I am supposed to with the package like webmail.  The email worked for two days, but I can not send mail from my outbound server (the domain that they run).  I tried to contact them via email with their "forced" electronic support system and I just get auto replies.  They never sent any confirmation emails and there was not numbers to contact them at.  I found only (1) telephone number when I ordered my email package through paypal.  If any of you need it, it is: 973-758-0880.  This number is NOT Entryhost's number but the number of a company that handles their calls.  They will be quick to tell you that they don't have any information on the company.  The whole thing is sounding like a scam and if they over bill my visa like they did some of the other people that I read here, I am gonna' bring the heat down on them and up in them.  Please, please, please DO NOT do business with these fools.  Their customer support DOES NOT exist.  It taught me a lesson for sure.

They are the worst hosts ever. Look below for their high handed reply and they canceled my account after this complaint. They also, held my domain. I had to call enom.com to get the domain freed from them.

After suffering through weeks of the same frustrating NON-support that you guys did. I decided to try getting my problem solved via registerfly.com's "Live Chat" support. I'd learned that Entryhost.com and registerfly.com are the same company, basically.  IT WORKED!! So, go there www.registerfly.com and use their Live Chat support thing. Probably have to be a client of theirs but you might try logging on using your entryhost.com user ID and password, who knows? Good Luck!

Unfortunately for me, I hosted all of my domain and e-mail for 4 URLs with Registerfly.com and, their sister company Entryhost.com.  I have SUFFERED with them for over 9 months and have submitted over 100 trouble tickets.  As a result of their COMPLETE DISREGARD for their customers, I am currently movings all 4 of my domains to another costing company. 

Neither Registerfly.com nor Entryhost.com have made any substantive attempt to fix their problems, which has left me mostly WITHOUT access to my domains or my e-mail accounts.  Their service has to be the WORST on the internet and I STRONGLY suggest NOT to use Registerfly.com or Entryhost.com in ANY WAY.

if you do have a problem with these people you are completely out of luck...I am not convinced that there are people who actually work for this company...i dont even know how to get them to stop billing me...??? i have no idea who to contact...i even started to ask them on info to upgrade my account because it only gave me 10mb, but no one even answered that request...guess they dont need the money...i am in the process of changing, obviously...

I had my site hosted with them for a few months - basic HTML no kind of programming.  It was down more often than it was up! Didn't bother me cause I was developing.  I then used another website on their scam network "namerenters.com" (see my alexa review).  When I sent a polite letter about that poor service my ACCOUNT AT ENTRYHOST WAS CANCELLED! I could not even access my domain information at registerfly.com that I had paid for! It took a lawyer and contacting their upstream host (enom.com) to get access again.  Believe me, I transfered as fast as I could.  Search google for the number of registerfly complaints and you will be shocked.  Avoid at all costs!

I was a fool not to do some research before signing up with entryhost.  I am constantly having problems with email and my site is down more often than it is up.  You can only contact them through their web site.  After a couple of days go by after you reported a problem they tell you that there is no problem on their end. I paid in advance for 3 months of service for 2 web sites but am going to find a more reputable host. DO NOT USE ENTRYHOST.COM, REGISTERFLY.COM or UNIFIEDNAMES.COM. If you are adept at voodoo or witchcraft please place a curse on them for me.

Sadly, I did not know of the webhostingratings.com site so I would have known to stay away from this company! I have two sites hosted here where I paid a year subscription for each.  My websites are often down, and technical support is non-existent.  What a scam!

I've been using Entryhost for six months or so. The first five months were great. There were no problems at all. However, starting on December 9th, I started having major DNS problems with my website, webmail and POP3/SMTP. A random combination of these servers would return "DNS error: unknown host." I am seeing approximately 6 hours of down time PER DAY because of these DNS problems.

My problem reports to Entryhost "customer support" are always immediately closed, with "It is working now!" as the reason the ticket is closed. After a couple of weeks pleading with Entryhost's supposed support to investigate the problem, I am giving up.

Entryhost is fine as long as nothing out of the ordinary happens. The second that a problem occurs, though, you are on your own.

In April 2002 I paid by--credit card--a 3 month subscription to Registerfly.com for a domain name and web hosting service via credit card. Registerfly.com is a part of the UnifiedNames, Inc. and all "support" goes thru something called EntryHost.com.

Their support was non-existant. No phone numbers, and they answered email when they "felt like it". Still, I got the website up and running only to have the server go down for 4-8 hrs at a time 3-4 times in one week. That was the last straw. I obtained a new host, transferred all my files and cancelled my subscription--by emails because there is no other way to contact these people. I wrote to them by every method possible--including support tickets. NO RESPONSE.

6 weeks after the cancellation Registerfly.com hit my credit card for another quarter of billing. I disputed it and wrote them again. The bank just adjusted the August charge when 5 days later I was hit with yet ANOTHER CHARGE by Registerfly.com.

THESE PEOPLE ARE OUT OF CONTROL. In April, when the charge was valid, they did not have "automatic billing". I HAVE NEVER AUTHORIZED AUTOMATIC BILLING FOR THEM. I authorized a one time charge. THESE PEOPLE ARE STEALING NOW, AND WILL NOT STOP. The bank says they can't stop an automatic payment--not even one that was initiated by the crooks and not the account holder.

BUYERS BEWARE!! Stay away from these people.

I had to hack public record to get to their management team, before I could get a refund for a DOUBLE CHARGE they made to my credit card.  I was threatening legal action, and calling every day.  They guys are major JERKS!!!

Where to start with these guys... no support, much less "7/24." Operation is a scam out of a Livingston NJ home. No business license. Multiple complaints files with the BBB and local law enforcement. In my case, credit card fraud and attempted identity theft. Their servers are down 20% or the time and don't respond to any inquiries. The phone numbers are blind forwarding services in N.Y. and N.J. The P.O.Box is fake (mail returned undeliverable). These are scam artists, pure an simple. Only a fool would contact them for hosting (OK, I was a fool!).

Just flat out told me that my web publishing software does not work with their platform. Didn't even make an effort to try. I have used 3 independent hosts since then which I found for $10 a year on Ebay who were just ordinary people with severs who accomadated my needs with ease and great support. Wouldn't even refund my money and stopped answering my emails after I requested a refund. Just like the parent company Unified Names. Absolutely horrible customer service and response time. Tim Shor needs to get his act together and stop hoping Enom will bail him out everytime just because they are a good reseller!

Setup was straightforward and easy. I encountered aproblem with the nameservers being activated correctly. Customer support is a joke. There is no way to talk to anyone. They ignore support inquiries. Avoid this host!

I signed up with EntryHost.com over 4 days ago because they promised to put sites up on the web in about 10 minutes.  I have still not received the necessary information to upload my site to the web.  They had no problem running my credit card, but they have a major problem with their support system.  There's no way to e-mail them (you just get an autoresponder telling you to use their online "support ticket" system.  When you try to use this, it says "unable to connect".  If one does go through, they'll respond in about 24 hours and ask for more information and tell you to submit a new ticket.  It's the most aggravating experience I've ever endured.  I'm still waiting to see if they'll fix the problem, but I'm still not sure if they understand what my problem is since the only way to contact them isn't very functional

They provide NO SERVICE

They refuse to answer emails, they demand you use their "online support system, they online system ignores your entries without an error if it doesnt like something in one of the fields, when you finally get it to accept a support question you'd better like that AUTO-RESPONDER message you get, cause thats all you are getting.

The isses are:
1. The SSL support worked only the first few days after a sign up with them.
2. REALLY BAD SUPPORT SYSTEM! THEY EVEN DON'T HAVE A CONTACT ADDRESS OR TELEPHONE. THEY DON'T ANSWER TO TEHNICAL PROBLEMS FOR WEEKS.
3. THEY CHARGED FOR A NEW WEBHOSTING SPACE (Web Starter) and it still not working and no info available for 4 days. INCREDIBLE!!!
