Absolute worst. Down all the time. Tech Support is non-existant. Don't be fooled by the UNLIMITED deal because your site will be down so much it won't make a difference.

I signed up with FP last year on got their Platinum plan which looked like an awesome deal. You had to pay annually so that's what I did. They guarenteed my satifaction or my money back. That guarentee is the biggest load of garbage ever. They just kept all 300 some dollars of my money after.
So before all hell broke lose, the first month with them was ok. They seemed to have good speed and everything was working. The next month however, my site gets shut down for using too much bandwidth. I only used about 5 gigs. It's suppose to be unlimited amount of usage so why the hell would they take me down? I tried calling them to see what was wrong and they just hung up on me right away each time, that when I was actually able to get through. So I submitted a help ticket asking why and waited and waited. I got nothing back. So after a few days I submitted another and still nothing. I was royally pissed off by then and submitted another one with some harsh language. Well they finally told me that I used too much bandwith which is a load of BS. They said the cap was at 30 gigs.
Ok so how is 5 gigs anywhere close to 30...?
So when my site did come back up, it was veeeeery slow in loading. Often it just plain went down because of their own poor job of stabilizing the network.
As time went on, various things just stopped working and they wouldn't fix them when I submitted the help tickets.
Eventually they changed their control panels. This was a pain in the ass. You had to request to have your account switched over. So I did and after a week, still on the old one. So I request it about 3 more times and finally on the 3rd week they go ahead and do it...but they totally screw up and now I'm on both servers. This totally confuses any computer you are trying to access my site from. Even worse it that after just 3 days, I could no longer log into the new server. So once again with the tickets, I send it in stating the problem and they tell me I was the one who messed up with transfering my stuff to their new servers. Gee that's funny because I had ZERO access to any of my stuff plus I would have had to go to their offices and manually do it myself to mess with anything.
So they never fixed it and just ignored any tickets I further sent. Also with the new server, absolutely none of my email boxes would work. That went on for months.
I wanted my money back for all this crap and they either hung up as soon as I kindly stated that I would like my money back. Same deal with the tickets. They didn't answer them.
So bottom line here is, DO NOT host with them. They are the absolute worste. This kinda crap did not just happen with me, but several other people I know as well.

The ship of fools that run Feature Price have scammed thousands of customers and a legitimate hosting company. They failed to pay their Sprint bill. They are in litigation up to their eyeballs. They made guarantees that were never honored.
Finally, they were bought out by another company, refused to let that company access their servers, and relocated to avoid seizure.
And they now claim to be back in business. If you don't stay far far away from Feature Price you will be burned.

I spent alot of money and time setting up a php script website ,somewhere over $600.00 and God knows how many hours setting it up and learning to use script .. I have no replacment money to start over yet, and the carpet baggers line up with 50 MB websites telling me what a great deal they have ..One other thing Hey Atlantic.net,you have lost any chance you had to have me buy your over inflated prices when I've found dedicated servers for less than your shared hosting plans .. Well to the future..I hope all other screwed ones recover from these evil ones..

When we originally started hosting with FeaturePrice in July of 2001, we were satisfied with the service, and renewed in 2002. In January 2003, things started falling apart, and they never got better. When they started responding to queries about why our site was down with "READ THE MANUAL ALWAYS", that's when I knew it was time to bail.

The domain was created, months ago, as a "dummy" site to put up on my old FP account, which NEVER worked - while being "hosted" by FP and then later by Atlantic. The FIRST TIME I was ever able to see it on the 'net was when Atlantic decided to post their advertisement on MY DOMAIN, a few days ago, with neither my knowledge nor permission. In fact, I've NEVER been able to access my control panel on Atlantic.net and they've REFUSED to provide me with any information to log onto it, even though I've been trying to get access to it since May 21st - even more disgusting is the fact that Atlantic KNOWS that something is wrong, and that I've got a Platium account that doesn't "expire" until the very end of January 2004. They've continually refused to establish a new account of their own servers - as they claim they will do for those of us with Platinum Accounts. Anyway, I'm sick of being lied and changed the DNS paths of this last remaining site to the place where all of my other sites have been located for some time now - GetMeHosted.com. Atlantic has had well over SIX WEEKS to show us just how "wonderful" they are - they STILL CAN'T EVEN GIVE ME ACCESS TO MY CONTROL PANEL, let alone get my site up, except to post their CRAP.

After a few going-out-of-business homepages that were promptly replaced with "we're not going out of business" messages the following day, FP is officially GONE. Atlantic.net has taken over FP's assets (more $$$ to the old employees' pockets) and has offered 2 free months to all FP customers. This means that if you paid >$100 on the last day when Featureprice signed up a customer, you lose approximately 10 months of service, if you site ever worked at all. Not surprisingly, a class action suit is already in the works.

Your in for the biggest headache in your life by choosing FeaturePrice web hosting, and I cannot believe Atlantic was willing to bail FP out, I would not trust them either. I could go on for days telling you about how FP screwed me royaly. I currently have complaints lodged with the Florida Better Business Bureau, and The Florida Attorney Generals office, I hope the owners of FP do jail time for their misdeeds, they certainly deserve it. The Florida Attorney Generals office currently has them under investigation, that should tell you a thing or two. I switched my web hosting to GetMeHosted, an excellent company.

Well, it looks like Feature Price has ceased operations as far as the staff is concerned. Funny thing, it seems that the last one out the door forgot to turn off the servers. I signed up with Feature Price last year to host some web sites for different operations that our company is envolved in. The price for hosting 4 different domains was too good not to try. I set up the first and ran it for a while. Everything went well. The main reason I was looking for a third party host instead of hosting on our own servers was that I didn't have the facility for providing the managers with statistics for the sites. Feature Price's stats were the ticket that the managers were looking for. I set up the other three web sites with Feature Price. Everything went very well until recently. One of the endeavors has personnel with e-mail needs. I actually host their email on our corporate email server, but at the time I set up with Feature Price, it seemed easier to let them receive the mail and forward to us. Around the end of April, the staff of this operation told me they weren't receiving any e-mails. I checked and realized that Feature Price's email server was not functioning. April 30, I logged onto the helpdesk and issued a trouble ticket. Later that same day, I got a great idea. Why not have them change the DNS and point the MX record to our mail server so the mail won't even go into their mail server. So, I submitted another trouble ticket noticing that the first one had not been opened yet. Well, to this day (May 30) neither one has been opened. All the information about phone tech support on their web site says it is down for conversion to a new system (information dated in April). So far, our web sites are still functioning (except for the email). Fortunately, I registered my own domain names, so I went back to the registrar and changed the DNS servers back to our servers. I have set up these DNS entries to point to Feature Price's web servers and to our email server. Everything is still working (knock on wood). Just no one there running it. Guess when it all stops running, that will be the end of it. Very sad. They had a very good service while they chose to run it.

I made a BIG mistake, i purchased the best deal they had to offer, unlimited everything. Every thing whent great and after ONE month, whent sour!! For 3 months was not able to FTP to my site(s) (had 3). Then they after more than 20 "support tickets", and like 10 long distance calls, and waited over a hour they just hung up, and I have to call from outside US, so is a very expensive call. Try to resolve the problem receive every time a response form a Neeta, Ramish, etc (get the point, they had the support some wherre in Middle East!!), and always they answered, that every thing is ok. So I had to reopend the ticket, or try the "live chat" I had to wait like 10 hours for some one to responded, and then said that sorry and hung up, and had only four tockens for every ticket submitted. Then try (and still) to get the domain under me, to no avail, have emailed to every known person at this site, but no response. And now, the best part, on april 25, they whent belly up!!! my site is not working at all, and no one to give support, every thing is suspended. ANd I need to get my domain at another place, but since they owned!! I´m stuck!!! So you better off with another company, they offered US based support (Neeta, Ramesh, Sameer, Prashant, Shylesh, Satishg, Navinder, Satish, Renney, Nilesh, Nitin, Deepak, Bhavanna) are all full 100% US names!!!

I've been using them for about 2 years, up until last summer (2002) I didn't have any problems. Since then my site has been down a lot and right now (5/20/03) they have take all contact information off of the tech support section on thier website. I have no way of contacting them right now via e-mail or phone. The only way I can talk to them is by submitting a service ticket, which I did 5 days ago and haven't gotten a response yet. They are rude when I have talked to them and will talk down to you. Thier control panel is confusing and often has inaccurate information. There are better plans out there, go with them!!! I am going to go with another host as soon as possible!!!

Sorry to say but this was easily a costly mistake. Getting ahold of Tech Support took me over 96 hours, i [snipped] you not. After reaching support they figure out the reason why my site isn't posted, they had it on an INTERNAL SERVER, not the web!!!! Brilliant. Now i've just read tonight that they're out of business and they gave there clientel (presumablely yourself and definitely me) to vaccate and kiss your paying ass "goodbye" to the money you poured into your HTML to be posted. Sad. I wish nothing but the worst for their employees and look forward to a class-action suit. I know there will be easily a few thousand more disgruntled consumers besides myself who have been left screwed.
PS-I'm only giving them a 2 cause my site is still up and running. Why remains a mystery. I assume it will be axed soon.

This was my first attempt at designing and hosting someone's page. I thought I'd do it right, looking at customer reviews first and picking a great host. They were ranked highly when I signed up, but then things took a nosedive.
Their customer support is a joke, and there's no way I will get a refund. Promised phone and chat support, but now nothing is available. Email support is auto-reply only. Website is up and down erratically.
I have no trust in any hosting service now...I'm shopping entirely based on reviews from sites like this! Of course, there's no guarantee the next site won't also die once I sign on.

I was so incredibly happy with FeaturePrice, I told all my friends about it. Then, about three months ago, all that changed. Now they are the scurge of the internet. Most if my e-mail got lost. Servers are down. Don't even THINK about asking for help. There's no way to get it.
Now, they tell me (well the put on their website, no one at FP has EVER told me anything verbally) that they are "reorganizing", that we'll all be so impressed with their new level of service once they get everything straightened out in a few days. That was on April 24th. Hmmm... seems like deja vu all over again.
Just for S&Gs, I clicked on their "Free for 1 Hour" offer. I got a "Page not found error". However, oddly enough, when I click on the link to BUY their services, it goes right through. I carried the transaction forward until I had to provide my credit card number. Apparently, they're still willing to take the money, even if they're not staffed to do anything with it but laugh as they take it to the bank.
Since I started encountering problems, I've put in a complaint at the BBB (like everyone else) but expect nothing. I am abandoning my two sites with them and moving on to another web hosting company.
Without resorting to vulgarity (which would be nonetheless appropriate when describing FP), let me just say that if you are considering engaging FeaturePrice for your web hosting needs, you would be better served by just throwing your money out the window and pretending that someone elses website is your own.
FeaturePrice: Just say no.
Friends don't let friends use FeaturePrice.
FeaturePrice: Sometimes you just got to say, "No way in hell"

Hosting since 8/02. Okay the first 5 months or so. Since first of year email doesn't come up until you've rechecked for over 2-3 minutes. Web site is down often.Can't ever get thru to customer service.

Web host news says they will/are goingout of business.. would certainly explain why NO SUPPORT and terrible uptime of their servers lately. Looks like I have to go hunting yet again.

This is my first web site and host. I picked Feature Price after a lot of research, based on features and strong reviews. For the first few months everything was great, then it all basically started falling apart. You can't get any help from them, so you have to figure everything out yourself. At least the price is nice.

Featureprice (Hosting-Network) appears to be having major problems. I am very grateful that this is just a hobby site for me, and not a business. My site has been down a number of times in recent months, my email has not worked for weeks, and it is impossible to reach them by phone or email. The Better Business Bureau (for Ft. Myers, FL) lists them with "an unsatisfactory record due to unanswered complaint(s)." Featureprice.com has a note on their support page from 4/24/2003 stating that "Featureprice is not and has not "gone out of business," we're simply getting better and more comfortable for the years to come". They imply that the Technical Assistance & Customer Service are not available due to a new call center, which will be operational within a few days of 4/24. The email has been in trouble for several months. I tried to contact them at the 1800 they gave to me before, but the number don't work anymore. Then I trid the Control Desk, my access was denied. I tried to verify my user name and password which are the same as I had at the very beginning when I set up the account, I have received no response. So I have no way to contact this company by either phone or email. I can't even cancel the service. The only thing that I can do is to change the hosting company and concel my credit card that I gave to them for fee before.

My $300 plus Platinum account had about six months left when FP went belly-up. After failing to contact them through e-mail or phone I wrote them a letter asking what was going on. No response. I'm gone, moved to another hosting company. I think lots of us lost money on this one.

I have had an account with Feature Price for about a year, and have had no major difficulties until this week. My site and email have been down for nearly 3 days. I can get no response whatsoever from the company - nothing via the helpdesk, nothing via email, nothing on the phone. When I call, I hear a long message about how they really haven't gone out of business, what the customer service hours are and then hangs up. I have been calling during the proper hours, to no avail.
I would suggest that people avoid this company.

I have been with them since Oct. of 2001. Back then they seemed good. But just shortly after Xmas this year they put me on the new server and off of the old Plesk system.
They lost my files, and I had to upload 240 mb myself. I had the site running perfect, then some dimwit tech moves my files around for no reason, and messes up my site and takes the ssi off line.
Got my site back again about 2 months ago, and then it went down for good May 5th.
I now have a new host, and of course I had to rebuild my pages as I had to use .com instead of .net for my URLs since I can't contact them to release my domain name to me that had .net in it.
They suck big time!

This host was good for last year, and now, since march, they don't answer email, the phone hangs up on you, you can't talk to a human, they don't service trouble tickets - they are a big joke. I have contacted the West Fl. BBB, and the Fla. Consumer Services - neither know anything about them. I called the Fla. Attorney Gen. today and left a message. I just want to know if they are out of business. Also, for everyone that changed to another company, what company is out there that is HONEST? Who found a good one?

I've run several tech support facilities. Feature Price's management makes EVERY EFFORT to make it impossible to contact their tech support. I've had a POP3 problem since last week, have 2 problems open and it's still not fixed and no one has even sent me a confirmation email. You can't even call them! Don't waste your money!

Good for first year I was with them, then all went downhill this year. My site was up for about one week in the month of March, with email support for only 1/2 of that time, and script support for 1/4 of the time. after 16 tickets and numerous attempts to contact the company, my site was finnally up, but my credit card was charged 228.40 for no reason. I have since been disputing this, with no resolution. Now the entire site offers no support or help in any matter, and has been like this for one full week. I am now looking for a new hosting company for me and my clients which are sighned up with this horrible company. By far this is the worst company I have ever dealt with, and my hopes are that they will be forced to shut their doors

Were good up until mid Jan 2003. Found out they had hijacked my domain name. Thought I had it back but never followed up (my mistake). No POP mail in 3+ months, web site down 5+ days at a time the past 4 weeks. No notice of changes in service, contact numbers, etc (VERY UNORGANIZED I think). Wasn't able to renew domain thru them when it expired. Their website constantly changes from saying they are going out of business to back to normal as if nothing happened. Lots of complaints with their local BBB, Florida Attorney General office, and others. Free geocities site better than this! STAY CLEAR!!!!!!!

I can’t believe it took me so long to come to face the reality that featureprice.com is horrible. Not until I came to this review board did I realize that I was not the only one getting the shaft. Wonder what the odds are of getting my money back for my full year prepay? It’s April 29, 2003 @ 8:01pm and my site has been down for over an hour. This is nothing new though. Out going email servers been down for several days. Of course, no response from tech support because their toll free number is disconnected and if your call the sales line I get this 3-minute dissertation from probably the flunky owner and then it just hangs up. Last e-mail I sent thru my toppros.com acct got returned because their server thought it was Spam. Jeez…They host (Hosted as soon as I can get DNS changed) the acct. you would think they could that one right. Truly, the service started out good about a year ago and has simply gotten worse and worse. I don’t expect them to last much longer.

It was OK for 7 months, but then everything went to hell. 99.9% uptime guarntee is worthless. Customer service is terrible.
Stay away from the is host! I'm giving up on them and moving to another host even though I still have over 3 months left on account. It's a bargan just to get away from them. Any refund? Not likely... >:-(
