They actually had pretty good service before they moved their servers. It went to hell-in-a-handbasket after that. They then had horrible customer support. Their idea of customer support was voice mail. It took me forever to get the domain I registered out of their name and in to mine like it was supposed to be in the first place.

For some odd reason our website is no longer running. Our domain name is fine, but the server host has decided to put a website for ENOM on our site.
When you call enom they refer you to Domain Registry of America which doesn't solve this problem.

I moved on -- they went from hard to contact to no contact. They sent a bill from when I was there to collections, however, they always had my credit card on file -- could have charged me at any time???? Bunch of morons with higher pricing and lousy service.

At one time these people had an acceptable service. Last year they "migrated" to new servers, moved from Baltimore to Denver (I'm guessing with a change of management), and caused me a month-long outage. Their service has gone further downhill since. They don't respond to requests for support. They don't answer email. They don't even acknowledge a cancellation request.

They don't seem to have any problem billing your credit card on time, though.

If you deal with these folks, you're pretty much on your own, as far as support.

Their shared-server hosting business has been bought out by bizland, who seem to be planning to carry on the same level of support, judging from the short dealings I had with them.

Invite moved accounts from different servers into new servers, and had a new administrator who didn't understand the hosting service. They claimed all customers were informed - we were not. The said if we had email hosted with Invite we probabaly would not have gotten the email (lucky customers). We had our own private email listed and still did not receive any notice of the moves. Our site was down (small private site - not regularly used) for over a month and we were never contacted concerning any problems. I cancelled service and was billed again the following month. I contacted them daily at one point to get a refund but did not receive the refund until over three months after we cancelled and four months after the site originally went down. I complained to the BBB as well.

The whole experience was a complete joke.

As another note, I also hosted a government site with them prior to this. Their site also went down and all the data was lost. The site had to be restored from an old backup. They were not notified as well as to the problems but discovered it on their own.
