The tech support is fast and friendly, the control panel lets you setup your account the way you want it and 5 domain names can be hosted, standard with the account, it's a great value.

I'm not sure what's up with these recent poor reviews vs. the 30 or so glowing reviews you will see below, but in my opinion, LFC Hosting has only gotten better over the years. I have been a client of LFC for a long time now, and have not had a better experience with any of the other hosts that I have tried. Their customer service has always been #1, their uptime lately has been almost 100% and my site loads faster every day. I strongly encourage everyone to try LFC!

How insulting and immature can you be to review your own compan ywell when you are costing so many people business. Go back to school and learn some customer support. I appreciate you trying to salvage your diminishing client base due to server issues, but do not do it at the exoense of your integrity. I am running as fast as possible to find a reliable host.

I have never worked with a company that has a lower level of proffesionalism. The owners/management is rarely available to answer to the large number of issues that have affected my business due to their inability to keep their server up. Tech support has been helpful with some of my issues and much more responsive than the owners who are never in because they are either out of the country or worked late the prior evening and will not be in until the afternoon, if at all. These are the same two answeres i continue to get, depending on the day. Do not waste time leaving messages as they will not be returned by anyone who is capable of making any kind of desicions. In short i am leaving as fast as possible if I plan on staying in business as they are down to often and make my company look like a small operation thanks to their server issues. Which by the way they have never said sorry for the problems when I speak with them on the rare occasion that they make it in that day. I would not reccomend LFC unless reliability is not an issue. Also notice that their current up time is not on the rating, you may want to check their most current. I have been down over twenty minutes at a time on numerouse occasions.

On August 8 2002 CEO Robert Sauchyn [robert@lfchosting.com] of LFC Hosting sent out an e-mail that started as follows:
"Dear valued LFC Hosting member,
Over the last two months, you have undoubtedly noticed an abnormally large number of network outages. These outages, aside from those caused by our upstream ISP, were aftermath of our migration to IIS 5.0, FrontPage 2002, JRun 3.1, .NET, etc. in May. Although this migration will eventually greatly improve our reliability beyond what it has ever been, we found many bugs that had to be worked out..."
He then goes on to blame their upstream provider and an entire list of other people for their problems.
THe truth is I like dealing with their technical staff, and they do offer a lot of features for the money. But I was forced to leave them, and have now settled finally on MaximumASP, who seem like angels sent from heaven (if for a price).

My experience with LFC Hosting over the past 13 months has been better than I ever could of imagined!
Their customer service, reliability, automation, advanced features and capabilities, e-commerce support, and highly competitive plans are far superior to those of any other of the many web hosts that I have been with.
I highly recommend LFC Hosting to anyone doing business online and I intend to stay with this company for years to come.

They provide a fairly decent package where you can host multiple domains in one package, but the downtime is totally unacceptable. They seem to have to restart their servers constantly. When the site is up and running, I've been pleased with the performance, but -- as you can see from the graph -- the downtime is a chronic problem that occurs sporadically throughout any given day and causes endless frustration.

When I first signed up with LFC, I was greeted by my personal tech support rep and the VP of the company. Thought that was really pretty cool.
However, in the months since, I've found tech support is incredibly slow and they truly have no clue how to set up their own mailing lists. It took me 2 months to get someone to work on my list and it was screwed up. He passed it on to someone else and we had to start from scratch. I gave up.
Downtime is ridiculous! My own sites and that of a couple of clients have experienced noticeable downtime. Maybe it's not LFC that's down, but somewhere along the pipeline somebody's screwing up much too often.
If you need nothing fancy and want to host up to 5 domains for cheap and don't care about downtime, this is the way to go.
Be careful, though. You won't just pay what your plan says you'll pay. Exchange rates for those of us in the US (LFC is in Canada) fluctuate and I've ended up paying a few cents more per month than advertised.
Getting ready to transfer files as soon as DNS servers catch up.

Downtime is substantial.
Tech support is slow, arrogant and less than helpful.
CEO is a 17/18yr old high school senior.
Online "control panel" is convoluted and poorly organized.
Trouble ticket system has no backup.
