I have a site that includes several video clips in Windows Media, Quicktime and Real Player formats
When I first signed up with Readyhosting about 4 months ago everything seemed to be working fine
Later their service became intolerably slow.  A 2 megabite movie that use to start downloading and
playing almost right away...now began taking around two minutes to download.
My clients started to complain that movies they were trying to download were taking too long.
Several attempts to have Readyhosting move my site to a different server were to no avail.
Finally, I bit the bullet and went with another host...OLM.
So far, so good.  My movies are downloading much faster now.
If you are thinking of posting video on the web so your friends or clients can view them,
Readyhosting is probably not a good way to go.  If you are currently with Readyhosting and have video
on your site, compare the download speed of your clips to mine on OLM.
Go to http://egeefay.com/samples1.htm and sample the download speed .
Compare them to what you are getting with OLM (sample them during the day.  Readyhosting works ok at night)
If you aren't satisfied, switch.  You'll pay about $10 more a month...but if you are using it for business...
it's worth it.
