I've been with readyhosting some time and have multiple domains there. They do offer a lot of features etc. but the quality of the service is poor and seems to be getting worse.
Downtime happens every day, some days seems to be an hour or so, other days 40 or 50 minutes, maybe more.
I'm living with the problems and don't need a lot of handholding nor am I going to scream if the site is down 20 minutes a day. But a BIG drawback of this service is Database problems.
I often use dsnless connections to access database for ASP programming, but forget using DSN-less connections on Readyhosting. They must be so overloaded it won't work and they refuse to take the steps necessary to make DSN-less connections work.
Ok, well I can live with that too, and use the slower DSN connection. It should be easy to set up with their control panel right? Wrong! The control panel set up usually doesn't work and you have to resort to calling or waiting for tech support to fix it. THEN, BE SURE and tell them to increase your DSN connection right from the start, otherwise you will get "too many clients connected" errors. It is just ludicrous!
