I just signed up with ReadyHosting.com and so far my site has been down a few times, and my email.  However, just because my site is down a few times in the aftermath of a hacker is no reason to go ballistic on the whole company.  The internet has enabled fickle people to spam sites like this.  I read through most of the posts here and have found that there are about 100 or so fickle internet users out there.  Unfortunate for ReadyHosting.com they were chosen by these people to host there sites.  My site is only a personal site, so 100% uptime is left to more professional sites, and sites like the one I get to work on, we've got our own server at work, so downtime is our problem not some hosting company whose taking care of thousands of websites.  Its a wonder that the internet works.  If you work in IT like me, you would realize how fickle computers can be.  Sometimes you just have to throw your hands up and ask someone smarter than you to do something.

As for system backups, I hope ReadyHosting.com has off server backups, not for my sites sake, but for their sake.  Where I work data is taken off site so that backups are 100% guaranteed.

From reading these posts I am not going to leave ReadyHosting.com.  I am going to give them a chance.  They deserve faithful customers to give them the opportunity to prove themselves.  That is the kind of trust they are trying to build with us (customers).

Like I said before, the internet has made it possible for fickle people to blab their most recent thoughts.  My guess is that most of the negative commentors won't even check back here, they've said their two cents and they'll be gone.  Me? I'm going to give ReadyHosting.com a fighting chance.  Time will tell whether or not they are a good hosting service, not a few bad ratings by Anonymous people.

Thanks for listening to my 2 cents.
Nate

PS No, I left another email so that I wouldn't get SPAM, not because I can't get email from my domain.  My website will not be available because it is a personal site and I have it for friends and family to keep in contact.  I am tired of SPAM.
