As opposed to telling my story, I am just going to list the problems I had. Aside from the BLAZING fast connect speeds...... 1)bad support 2)frequent downtime for sometimes a as much as a day at a time. 3)when questioned, "I" was told they "had a router go down" 14 hours later, everything is back up with no further explanation. 4)they set up the standard "Perl Help Desk" maned by evidently some Russians or something... it got worse from there. 5)They DO have a 1-800 #... however, as the server downtime went up, the telephone suport went dow... and it was only standard business hour support. 6)did I mention bad support? 7)after several years, I finally decided to move and getting a credit was NOT an enjoyable experience at all... but I did finally get a 600.00 credit.
Basically the service started out good three years ago, but it just got worse and worse. One thing that happened as I was deciding to leave, and was ultimately the reason I left, was the attitude I was getting. I had all of the sites in my reseller plan go down one weekday afternoon about 6 pm... they came back up at 9 am the next morning. I naturally complained and that's when the attitude started.... to quote, I was asked directly "how many people do you figure are looking at your sites at 3 in the morning?" .... My thoughts were... "if only ONE person is trying to get to teh site and it's down, you have failed. The internet is a 24-7 business.... downtime is not acceptable.... I could go on.. but you've allready heard it all I am sure... By the way, I moved to Hostmatix.... ummm.... don't go there either.... not MUCH better... but one things for sure... I'll never be affraid to move again.
