I was switched to XO without notification when they bought up a number of smaller hosts (in my case, 9netavenue). Though their introductory email stated that nothing would change, I was suddenly charged a year's hosting at $56.95 a month when I had been paying $13.95 a month for 9netave service. I also started experiencing intermittent service, with about 20% downtime. I never was able to get tech support to acknowledge this problem, and left XO very unsatisfied and much poorer.
