I hosted my website through ADDR for approximately six months before switching hosts. I develop database-backed web applications, and was angered and dismayed at ADDR's spotty database access, and the fact that my site was constantly down because ADDR's MySQL server was mysteriously offline. Responses to my emails would often take days.
I canceled my service with ADDR, at which point someone in their sales program offered me three free months if I would stay with them. I ignored the offer, believing my wishes to not do business with ADDR were clear. Six months later, I received a bill from them for $178, and just today, I received a late payment notice with a finance charge for said bill. ADDR apparently has forgotten to close my account and now might damage my credit rating because of this oversight. This behavior on ADDR's part is negligent bordering on criminal. I recommend ADDR if you enjoy paying for a website that's offline as often as online, truly heinous customer service, and billing that continues to harass you months after you've left for a superior provider. As for myself, I only intend to do business with ADDR again through an attorney.
