We were with ADDR for a whole 5 days before we ran from them.
First, they had a server crash and stored all the content from that server on ours, so our 50MB available server space dropped to nothing.
Then, after 4 days of our domain not being available, we contacted them to find out how much longer it would be. Turns out, they hadn't registered it yet! And then they lied about it.
Finally, they said we had to pay by check or money order. No credit cards. (huh? what's that about). And to top it off, we signed up for the 'Get the first year free' offer. Then they said we still owed for the first year and they didn't know anything about the offer. We had to send them a link to their own page to show them!
We've sent 3 emails now telling the cancel the account and have received no confirmation yet. They can't get their act together!
Not to mention that in 2001 someone hacked into their database and stole names and credit card numbers for their customers! http://cert.uni-stuttgart.de/archive/isn/2001/04/msg00031.html
