If all you are looking for is web hosting, I cannot complain too much about their web hosting service.
E-mail service they offer is another story. Today is the third day in a row where sending mail to AOL users will not work. AOL blocked all e-mail from Host Rocket due to an excessive amount of spam from their servers. I sent them a ticket two days ago. Their support site (www.rocketsupport.com) still shows have issues sending mail to AOL.
Host Rocket also added IMAP functionality to their system a couple months ago. The upgrade was a complete mess. They required users to change to the new host name in the e-mail client. It wasn't a big deal for me since I'm the only person that sends mail via my site, but would have been a major headache for any company with a lot of inexperienced users. Sending of e-mail was hit and miss for a while during the upgrade.
Their lack of change control, and notification is pathetic. It seems most changes take place during prime hours, and not during non-peak hours.
The AOL blocking issue was the last straw for me. I am now researching other companies to host my site.
