They lure you in with great prices, and good technical resources, then ZZZZZZZ, they go to sleep. Or more likely, they just ignore you completely. Here are a few things they have done to me: 1) delete log files at random times and dates without warning (because they felt like it), causing me to loose tracking between hits and $$$ radio spots during peak Christmas season, 2) Updated to lastest PHP version, without warning, before the version was stable - crashed the site, took days to patch, right before Christmas. 3) my site was hacked and all my clients' home addresses and phone numbers were stolen - liquidweb's response: So What? I was never able to track how the hacker got in. Liquidweb refused to share log files or help in any way. Even after I threaten to hold them liable for anything that happened to any of my clients.
Bottom line: if you are just playing around and technically savvy, liquidweb is okay. If you have a serious business application, stay clear!
