I joined Parcom several months ago, and was attracted to their services and price. After 2 months, I started having problems ranging from the site being down to not being able to check my email. But it was tolerable, and i have been VERY pleased with their service. However In the past month, my site and email has been down several times. I lost email for 5 days!!! when somehow, someone used an illigal mailing list on their servers. That problem was fixed but now this week, the servers were attacked by a hacker, and down again. That was fixed promply, however, my site was down when i needed to have access to my site. Tonighht, my site and email are down yet again as I write this....
although I had recommended this company to my friends, I will no more.
Be warned.

Its interesting that this is another anonymous posting. Again, no real way to know if this was our customer. Sorry that this customer feels our service is not that good at all. What about the high percentage of uptime aside from the small addressed issues. Parcom is a security oriented company - hackers are everywhere. We understand we cannot please everyone and some believe we need to be 100% hacker proof which is impossible - we're honest about problems - comes with the territory as they say! But we fix things fast. - Parcom family and staff.

I like this host - cheap, fast technical support and very friendly - always willing to help as much as they possibly can and listen to customer ideas and improve services. Good forums as well.

I've tried the big companies, paid through the nose, and been screwed. Now I'm with Parcom - they remind me of the good old days at Mindspring - before the Earthlink takeover. The customer support isn't instantaneous but it is professional and helpful. Highly recommended.

Fast friendly service, a family run company with a heart.  Queries are dealt with promptly, and the prices are excellent.

Every week something else isn't working, and is impossible to get working. Obscure Live Support hours if you're on EST, but more importantly Live Support is usually not answered at all. If it is, it breaks in a few minutes before your issue is ever resolved. Form-based support yields no help at all; the problem is always passed off onto something else. I'll be cancelling my account shortly, as I've been informed in order to access my control panel, I have to delete my account and make a new one (which means I have to go through refixing all of the problems I've already spent a month dealing with).

We do not know who this is. We take care of everyone at Parcom. If anyone has a problem with their account, customers are to always tell us. Without knowing who this is, there is no way for us to resolve this. As far as I am concerned this was not our customer.

Anyone who absolutely needs to talk to the owner is welcome to. No issue gets this far. And a similar note we've done so well in 6 years it wouldn't surprise us if this is a competitor.

Either way, other customers are most welcome to be taken care of by the Parcom family and staff.

This is a family run company which responds quickly to any queries and complaints.  The number of basic services included in the low price is quite astounding.  To get your own cgi-bin, asp access, multiple dsn (setup fee involved) for the one low price is excellent.

Parcom has the most dedicated and customer oriented people on staff I have ever seen! They do not have automatic setups on anything yet, but they are making that happen as we speak! They keep everyone informed of changes that are being made and are going to be made! They ask what kind of options people are looking for and they integrate them.  They say that it takes 1-2 days to setup most accounts and features, but I have always had my accounts and features setup within the same business day! Great job, Parcom!

They do a nice job, but don't have automated setup for anything, so any orders or changes require a 1-2 day wait.  I like their emphasis on security.

Since this posting, Parcom has been establishing new accounts in the hundreds per day - so we are now creating accounts within one business day (guaranteed). That includes billing, and receipts sent out to the customer! Accounts are ready to go 100%.

Parcom is always working toward improving automation and having the best billing department in the industry.
