cclHosting - Reviews at Web Hosting Ratings

I have tried several web hosts at various prices. CCLHosting is top notch, fast service, reliable, and I have over ten sites hosted there. I wouldn't host with anyone else.

Readers:
please note the anonymous coward with the negative comment is most likely a competetor. I've yet to see a problem posted on the boards at cclhosting that was not resolved.

I've only had a couple of hosts but my first one was not so great. I found cclhosting through broadband reports recommendations. I have found that the prices are excellent and the service superb.

I have not had any problems. There was a little down time at one point but there was good communication about it and the issue was resolved in a timely manner. So, I would say that the effort plus communication at up to the kind of host I am happy to do business with and recommend to friends.

All communications have been answered promptly and courteously. All service requests were handled more quickly than I would have reasonbly expected.

As a professional photographer, I rely heavily on my website to advertise and promote my services. And my company's email is life-blood for my business. CCL Hosting has offered excellent service, support and reliability in helping me build my site as well as maintain it.

I have had other hosting services through the years, some cheaper and some considerably more expensive. CCL Hosting has been the best of the bunch. They have a clean interface which allows easy maintaining of email accounts as well as web pages, in addition to reliable ftp access.

I am also the webmaster for two non-profit organizations (www.hangtimecafe.com & www.fbnnet.org) that have their sites hosted with CCL Hosting and we have been very pleased with this company for our sites.

cclhosting is a discount host and like they say, you get what you pay for... cclhosting offers a human touch but it is only suited to personal sites that can afford to be down every few weeks. If you're developing a site for a business or organization that requires around the clock uptime, you would be irresponsible to host it at cclhosting.

I am going to have to strongly disagree with this post. Our service is far from unreliable and is definitely not down 'every few weeks'

Today, Jan 12, 2003, our current server uptime is 56 days

The server was rebooted 56 days ago due to a runaway php script, which resulted in 15 minutes of downtime.

cclHosting did have an unacceptable amount of downtime in October due to network issues beyond our control. We strive to provide a top notch service to our clients and for that reason decided to move our servers to a new datacenter at the end of Oct, 2002. Since this move the only downtime we have experienced was the 15 minutes, 56 days ago.

We are very proud of the service we provide, and would invite any potential customers to visit our forums http://forum.cclhosting.com and find out what our customers have to say.

I would argue that this post was made by a competitor of cclHosting and not a customer, evidenced by the lack of details in their post. (ie: plan used, site hosted)

From the newest of the newbies (like me!) to seasoned web vets, cclHosting offers service, security and support to meet all levels of need, and all at a great price! The owner, Greg Martin, takes a personal interest in all his customers. Trouble tickets and support forum posts are quickly addressed and resolved.
Hosting packages include all the goodies anyone would want or need with a variety of levels and price plans. It doesn't get any better than this!
