HOSTONY - Reviews at Web Hosting Ratings

I am currently in a meeting trying to present an online courseware running on a clients website...pixelphish.com. I have contacted Hostony in the past 2 weeks plenty of times to resolve timeout issues, no connections to database and websites completly failing to resolve. There has been no effort to move users which I share space with who are bandwidth hogs. Hostony has admitted to users on my server crashing the computer...in fact the tech support guy that told me this no longer even works for Hostony! In any case turn elsewhere for your hosting needs! matrixreseller.com...srlhosting.com...great ones!

It sure sucks. No email was sent telling me my login id and password, so once you forget them (and you will) you cant log back in. There's hardly any way to contact them. What a shame and crime for these webhosts-comparing websites who put hostony and other stinky webhosts at top just because they pay commission.

The people here are nothing but crybabies. Hostony has hosted me for well over a year without a single problem ever. They have been supportive and friendly every step of the way. It's an excellent host, you should have no fears.

Major problems for 3 days, and now total colapse of a larger server, and no tech support, no phone number to call. Do a who is on thier name. The who is registrar shows the people are in RUSSIA!!!

April 2003 we move 30 sites to them... they have drop outs they deny...
April 28is 2003 they move servers and IP's, copy all domains, forget to set MX for two my accounts 60+ employees without email for days...
May 6th.. email service drops at 7:00am... no action all day but excuses... sites go down by 7:00pm ... nothing fixed by 11:30pm...
