I switched from a flat rate hosting company because i had heard rave things about bizhosting.  i wish i could have gone back.  After i had signed up, things were fine till they sent an email stating that my rates would increase by 4.00/month which is fine, but then 2 months later, another rate increase.  but, my hosting plan NEVER CHANGED.  Plus, I wanted to call the support to ask about the rate changes, and couldn't get anyone on the phone.  It was just awful from the start.

Want to lose hours and hours configuring and reconfiging your site because of their primitive and buggy site builder? Want to pray your inevitable, vendor-induced problems only happen between M-F, 9-5 Mountain Time, the only time you stand any chance whatsoever of getting support, even if you're a paid "Priority Support Customer"? Want to wander around empty forums looking for help, only to find the fixes listed actually make matters worst? Then, by all means, you should sign up with Bizhosting.com

I fell for the hype on their site and some, what now appear to be bogus, positive reviews, and signed up for a "Professional" site. I fear this organization is the definition of "does not even come close to meeting its stated objectives" when it comes to delivering a reliable product or any meaningful level of support- even to its Priority Support customers.
I've given them a deadline to resolve issues, or go public with their shortcomings. I've written this before that deadline, and will willingly retract it should they deliver as requested. Don't hold your breath, I'm not.

Our shopping cart hasn't worked properly with credit card orders since before Christmas. There is literally no support as the support links on their web site send you in an endless loop. They don't seem to care that our site is broken. Stay away from this one!

As a web designer I offered bizhosting as a host to my clients, as they do offer free accounts that are useful during the design process and also have some great e-commerce, but the banners crowd out and can ever interfere with the webpages loading and if you ever need support (even the priority support) good luck!! except for a autoresponder it was sometimes a week or more before I received any support, and even though they offer frontpage ext.  the support team seems to blame everything on the use of frontpage

This is the third hosting site I have used for a very small seller of collectibles.  The first site, YAHOO!, was too expensive.  The second site wass less expensive but resulted in very few sales.  BIZHOSTING is easy to use, has a great shopping cart provider, site looks professional (not a lot of lights or whistles) which I like. My previous experience in site design lessen my need for their help.  I rate the design features of Bizhosting a 10! I have sold more through Bizhosting then the other two combined.  I THINK IT IS A GREAT WEB-HOST!

I had trouble getting site back up and running .  Finally got an answer to my problem. Was not with bizhosting but with domain billing and renewal service. Up until this problem no major problem with our site.

my site has been down for about 2 weeks. I get a generic response that they are working on it but are on a skeleton crew till 1-02-03.  I'm sure customers are concerned as to what happened to us as a company on the internet.  looking for new Host........

Again, this webhost is down.  Last month, October 2002 they were down for more than 24 hours - this month November 2002, they are down again! It is really getting on my nerves.

Downtime is too much, but between October 8 and 9, 2002 we could not view our websites.  I went to their forum but they do not mention what really happened.  I got this message from a nice person who was kind enough to find out what was going on:

Apparently, they fell victim today to a large scale distributed DOS (Denial of Service) Attack. This is a brutal form of online terrorism that most popular web sites eventually fall victim to, including sites like Yahoo and CNET. Apparently they expected to defend against this and be back up faster than they were able. There is no real way to defend against such an attack other than locating each attacker and blocking their IPs. Very organized attackers might rotate IPs or use computers from around the world to attack, making it very difficult to defend against. Obviously this is a crime, but often perpetrated by people in countries where laws against such things cannot be easily enforced.

Unfortunately, several of our sites are hosted on Bizhosting's sister service, Freeservers, and are currently down as well (which is why I know what is going on). Things like this really don't happen that often, but when it does it affects everyone on their service-- One of the few down sides to their normally reliable hosting architecture.

Obviously, Bizhosting, like us, considers this a catastrophic event, and I guarantee you that they will have employees working all night long to get things going again.

I've been with them since March and have not had a major breakdown. They are reliable via email but don't pay for the extra priority support. They have never answered one phone call when I have called. In fact, they dont have an aswering service or machine either.

However, they are perfect and on time with diagnosing problems and they will get to your email during the business day if emailed before 2 p.m.. David Sessions and his crew run a tight ship when they are working!! Easy support, easy merchant account setup and interface and I'd have to say a great experience so far.

They have an awesome tool to create your own online store...but they're having some stability issues.  The site was down all weekend, I'm not getting responses to questions on their help site, and we're not being notified of what the issues are.  I still have hopes that this is a temporary situation!

Customer service is not 24 -7.  Not opened on the weekends, when I have had the most problems, like not being able to access my site to due busy or broken server.  Usually won't get a response to my higher level membership until mid day Monday they are on PST. Website easy but basic.  When I paid to have the site evaluated they said it was too slow

I started as most do with a free site. Had trouble with online interface not working pages that would disapear or not publish ect. Liked the look and options so after reading about how you could get priority support in 2 hours for $17.95 a month I opted for it. Well a month later and a poorly working site and hundreds of unanswered e-mails later I conclude there is no support at all. I still in over a week have not been able to get an answer from anyone. I obtained their phone number from the BBB and they dont even answer that. I have just been charged again for site even though I have emailed billing to cancel upgrade(they also do not reply) most of the email forms on their site go to non working email addresses like the complaints one. I have now contacted the BBB and chamber of commerence in UT to try and resolve getting my money back as they do not answer any emails.
