I run a simple cgi based forum website.  For the past several months, I have nothing but troubles at bizland.  My users are getting script errors, connection errors and various other errors.  When you email tech support, they say they can see the site with no problems.

although I'm a relative novice to the whole webpage world, I can safely tell you that Bizland is absolutely the worst company I've ever dealt with - their server recently crashed, destroying my entire website - 100's of hours of work gone - no compensation, no apologies - (i learned the hard way that you have to back everything up...my fault) - i actually had a supervisor tell me that I'm responsible for the destruction of my site -???- their customer service is horrid - expect to wait at least 30 min. to an hour everytime you contact them - i can't say enough about how awful this whole experience was - i was lied to multiple times and generally given the run-around - stay away from them at all costs

Have never had much in the way of a problem with Bizland. The only headache I've had was the new e-mail client.

I have been dabbling at making websites for others, and myself, and the site is pretty easy to use for a beginner which is very good. However, the downtime is a real hassle when I can't get into any of my sites to update them!! I mean days of down time, support is usually good if you call them but if you send an email, it can take a couple of days! At first they were pretty good but lately downtime has been a REAL problem. I'm looking elsewhere.

Several times in the last few weeks, their office has been closed during working hours.  The recording says to contact support through the internet.  If I had wanted that, I would have used that.  They do not support Access, which I need badly, but all in all, they have been a pretty good hosting service.  I haven't noticed any unannounced downtime.

While good for a starter there are many features they don't support. No live support 24/7; slow to respond and when they do they lack real knowledge.

They cancelled my site when someone else called in and asked it to be cancelled without a username or password. I have been trying for 5 days now to get Bizland support to fix the problem.

(3) years - (3) differenst sites without any problems with support. Geared for newer, smaller business, which it provides for well.

Well let's see were do i begin, the people they have answering the phone for them are very rude,I did not like calling bizland with questions,fearing a rude person would answer the call,they didn't now how to explain to me why my site was not coming up, the person on the phone just had jokes to make about the site, and the tools that is offered to build the site have no chance in competeing with other web site and i now because i looked at a lot of other sites.

Bizland uses an optional site builder called Site Delux with their service.  For one week now I have been unable to edit my web-site pages-add new mercandise, remove sold merchandise, etc.
Customer support says that they cannot duplicate my "issue".  They blame my browser, which I have cleared, and software that I have never used. 
I read the message boards for Bizland.com and many people are having the same problem with no real effort from customer support.  Many people are losing business.

Use of poor business standards to collect payment. When they require payment, they will use pop up messages that will be read by every user visiting your site. They should send you a private message or a phone call requesting you attention instead of letting everyone know about it.

I've had sites on Bizland for at least two years. I've only ever had one problem with bad frontpage components and they fixed it. Tech supposrt actually CALLED me at home on a SATURDAY to get it straightened out! Can you IMAGINE??? they've been quick to respond to questions and I'm about to upgrade a site w/domain name at Bizland. I'd recomend them! Julie

While I was at Bizland, they seemed to be very good for an absolute newbie (which I was)- and they seemed to be more geared toward that type of client.
I don't regret the time I was there- always got good support, but I finally needed features they just didn't provide.
Most of the access problems I had were traceable to Exodus.

they change conditions without notification.  Support personnel are instructed to lie to keep things simple. there is no billing tracebility.
