technical staff keep telling damn lies instead of resolving problems.for small things they depend on one mr rupi who is equilly careless and unrealiable.overall services are not at all SATISFACTORY>

In the 18 months we've been hosted, we've been down for a total of about 6 hours, not counting a time we swicthed server machines. The admin has *always* responded to any inquiry quickly, and to our full satisfation. The service is kept up-to-date with modern releases of PHP and SQL included.

I really couldn't think of a thing they could do better.

Hi dudes,
I have silver (100 MB) plan with ehostpros for my forums website.
Now they updated their hosting plans with 200 MB for silver. When i asked about new changes ( i knew it's not for old customers ) they updated my space to 200 MB without any charges. Great hosting experience !!
Their customer support team will be always helpful to my dump queries.

Excellent guidence from Mr.Rupi,KPR and other techs.

My best wishes to their future. :)

Considering the price, this is a good host. The help desk is good and mostly available. The speed is good. My guestimate is that the site was down on average 1 hour per week several months ago. They have been more stable recently.

I used this hosting and lanched a site for a customer. Site goes down they(ehostpros) send emails saying hard drive failure on their server no backups.
I was screwed my data base which I backed up weekly was no more. They said they had no back up.This means my site was gone and their answer to you is did you back it up. I think they should at least back up their ervers once a week what a joke company. Am i wrong or nor ive never heard of a company losing a back up of their servers.
What should I do but leave them.

i got this host after few bad hostings ... i found their url from a popular public hosting board and then visited them like i did with all other hosting companies ... i explained my site, my needs and all needed informations about my self. They accepted all the things about me & my site without anyproblem. Their hosting and backend real good for me. Atleast they offered the things which are more than i need. They protected my site from bot/dos attacks professionaly and without banning me on 1st min. Their hosting fast and i think enough for all types of sites. Their customer service also good enough.

24/7 means 24hrs / 7 days a week.
this is not true, my email servers are not working - live support??

other than this the http server seems pretty fast and up 99.9%

Hey,These guy's are providing best-in-class support to their customers. Basically i have no idea on web hosting before hosting with these guys. i saw few good reviews on them and purchased Silver hosting plan 3 months ago.
They gave me very good support till now in setting up of OScommerce ,phpbb forum and other scripts. I used get support within mintues through helpdesk system and live chat. Now i am upgrading to reseller program in this month.
If anybody wants good customer support for affordable prices HOST with EHOSTPROS.COM. Guys Keep it up :)

Avoid eHostPros. Huge Downtime, Poor Service, Never Respond - Review by David submitted on February 19, 2003

These guys have "live" online customer service and support, but I can never get them to answer, especially when the servers are down, which is a few times per month. The phone number to which their domain is registered is never answered. The guy, Rupi, doesn't answer voicemailes, and now they don't even answer e-mails. Every time the servers go down they have an excuse for why it is not their fault. They love to blame DV2.com, which is the data center where they decided to host their servers. If DV2 sucks so bad, move your servers. PROBLEM solved.

I plan on moving my domains as soon as possible, because eHostPros refuses to take responsibility for themselves, and they never offer a free month despite the fact they do not deliver the service you pay for.

AVOID THESE GUYS IF YOU WANT PEOPLE TO BE ABLE TO ACCESS YOUR SITES/DOMAINS.

Hi David,

We do have true 24/7 live support and yes, we do not have phone support. Please do not picture us the way you did. Dv2 had some issues and some issues were related to the server you are on and 99% issues have been resolved now. No DC or NOC can escape DOS attacks. Remember few weeks back 75% of net in USA and international was down ? Do you know why ? DOS attack due to sql worm and no matter how good the Datacenter is there are few ways to prevent it. And Yes, unfortunately one of the DC'c we used got hit quite a few times.
As for Live support feature which is available 24x7 and if DC or server is down the techs are chatting with more then 4-6 customers online and can't pick up all calls at same time thats why during server outage sometimes you wont be able to chat. As for phone we did talk on many occassions. Its not that easy to change DC's as you say and sounds. FYI past 5 months we are not using DV2 DC for our new server operations only the ones we currently have. AS for credit I did mention you to email billing@ehostpros.com for credit and we did credit many resellers who got hit in Janually due to DOS attacks. If the spoon that feeds you is down then we say its not 100% our fault and we explain to our customer, we are very homest and tell exactly where the prblem lies. I am 100% positive that you will not have any more downtime or server issues as the server you wer on was recently upgraded to DualP3.
Let us know if you have any more issues to be resolved.

These guys have great prices, but forget it if you want customer service or technical support, even during business hours and when the "Online Support" is ONLINE. They don't answer. My domains go down all the time, and they constantly blame DV2.com, the company that hosts their servers. They refuse to take responsibility for the fact that DV2 is their vendor, and the responsibility ultimately lies with eHostPros.com. If DV2 sucks so bad, and is constantly under DoS attacks or constantly having to take routers and servers offline, then they SHOULD CHANGE THEIR DATA CENTER.

PHP was in safemode, no writeable CGI apps allowed, difficult to cancel, rude service.

Its mentioned clearly in our Pre-sale FAQ's that we do not allow Safe mode OFF. All our server are running in PHP safe Mode ON at all times because we condider security for sites we host on our servers. I am sorry you feel that way but thats the reason we have live support to ask and pre-sale FAQ before you signup.

They say they provide shared SSL certificate, however it's not available to be used from a CGI-BIN, so if you want to show JPEG's securely that's fine, but if you actually want to have someone input secure information then you have to buy a certificate to get their site to work.  If you don't need SSL this site is ok, in fact the mail program seems to work well, allows you to set up lots of email and each person can set their own passwords, something my new host can't. However, I need SSL from the CGI-BIN so this just won't work for me.

Why one should not use eHostPros -
1. REALLY BAD customer service (rude and unprofessional)
2. super slow account activation
3. crappy and complicated control panel
4. and because there are so many better webhosting companies out there!

Response:: => We use Ensim and Cpanel control panel the two best control panel in the hosting industry I am sorry if you feel the control panels are bad, we have all FAQ and support documentation on our website as well as help doc's in control panel for your help.

4. and because there are so many better webhosting companies out there!

I know exactly why you are mad, we had recently merged with another company and you had account with them and they had sent out merger emails to all their customers 1 month and then again 10 days in advance and the email you had on file was outdated and any email we sent you bounced and thats not our fault that you didnt keep your email in good condition and now blamming us for your domains outage. If you have lept your emails with us in good condition or updated them you would not have been saying these things. We are not bad and rude atall. I however cannot change your opinion but tell the visitors the truth. Not all complaints seem wht users write, some are legit and some are due to frustration of users own fault. Please always check and double check with the comepny you signup with, ehostpros.com or any other webhost, as them presales Q's to their sales Dept and see the response.

I have been with this hosting company for about 3 months now. I have only experienced downtime about twice a month for no longer than 1 hour. The staff is very helpful and kind, and they seem to resolve issues very quickly.

I've been with eHostPros for a couple months now and yes, I did notice some downtime. But it's not a ongoing thing as some reviewers have mentioned. I spend up to 5-8 hours a day with my site so I notice what's going on. I'm not saying the uptime is perfect but you honestly can't expect 100% uptime for such a low price, which is an important factor for most buyers. Any time I needed anything from tech support I got a answer, usually within minutes or a couple hours. Overall I would recommend eHostPros because of the service and pricing. BTW: the domain registration DOES work.

I took Reseller account few months ago. Whenever i have problem with my account i used to live chat with Mr.Rupi (Admin of ehostpros) and problem will be solved instantly.

I have been withehostpros for more than a year now. I have 10 sites listed with them. In general I have had good service with them. Unfortunately, I have experienced several down time with them and my email service is not functioning correctly. The service has been very good but no was was yet able to fix my email issue. Uptime guarantee? Yeah right.  My site was hosted by them for about three months, and I probably experienced downtime at least several times a week, if not every other day for varied amounts of time.  Their nice guys, they just don't know what theyr'e doing.
