Thos huys should change their name and logo from ReadyHosting to ReadyTorture or Total suffering.

I have order a hosting plan last friday (2/1/2002) and till now i can't reach my site ! ! !
No tech support , i have sent hundreds of mails, all what i received is a bill ! ! !

I have 4 website hosted with Readyhosting and the service they provide is terrible.  My sites use SQL Server and their database server has been down since Saturday.  Can't get anyone on the phone - on the weekend they have an outgoing message and on Monday you get a busy signal.  There is no indication when the server will be back up on their website and no way of getting a hold of them.  I have tryed emails, but no response.  Site has been down for over 3 days now!!!! This is a joke.  I will be looking for another hoster for my sites.

No Support. ASP has been down over 48 hrs. Constant busy signal when you try to phone suport. No answers to emails. Trouble ticket system down. Complete Morons!

I am by no means the most computer savy person in the world.  In fact my husband is a network administrator for a multimillion dollar manufactoring company, and even HE throws up his hands in disgust when I display my puter illiteracy.  My web hosting company however, ReadyHosting is always there for me, no question is too stupid for them to help me with.  They are friendly, helpful, and always fix the problem, even when its my fault.  I won't go anywhere else.

When Readyhosting goes down it is usually on the weekends and for days not hours.  They have no weekend or night support.  They don't notify customers when their system is down or when it will be back up.  You can't fill out a trouble ticket if their system is down.

I have been with Readyhosting now for about 5 months. During this time, my e-mail has gone down, sometimes for a day or more at a time, at least 30 times.

My website has been down at least 15 times.
Tech support is unreachable by phone.
They give "Canned" answers to "Tickets" that you fill out for tech support. (because you can't EVER get anyone by phone.)

Have had good luck with them so far. This is the fourth site I've hosted with them and other than having a setup problem with one everything has been ok to now

I am webmaster of the current site an organization has on readyhosting. I find the speed, etc to be pretty good, but am not as impressed with how they handle support issues.
As I was researching hosting plans for
a new website, I tried to go to the readyhosting site tonight.  They are having server problems and I was unable to connect.  I checked the website I am responsible for, and it can not be located.  I called readyhosting; the message stated that the office was closed for the weekend and if I have a service issue, I need to contact the support staff through the website, which is impossible at this time.  As there is no way to leave a message, I do not even know if they are aware they are having server issues.

I have to say I'm extremely disappointed with the reliability of their service. There servers go down at least once a month. The worst is when it's on a weekend and you have no way of getting hold of them. Even the readyhosting site is down and therefore you can't submit a trouble report through it.

I guess as they say "You get what you pay for"

1: Their SQL Server experience seems to be limited.  I've yet to have my server capabilites active and I've been a customer for over 3 months.
2: They've got way too much downtime.  As a matter of fact, their site is down RIGHT NOW (10:48 EST 02/02/02), as is my site.  How am I going to submit a tech support ticket when I can't get to their site? It's saturday, so they don't take phone calls.  What am I supposed to tell my customers? I've can't help you till Monday?
3: They claim that most of your features are set up automatically upon sign up.  Not so.  I had to plead with them for three days to enable my Active Server Pages(or to run scripts in IIS).
**I hope someone from readyhosting reads and responds to this.  For 125 bucks a year, I should at least be able to CONNECT to my SQL Server (by the way, I'm a SQL server admin, so I do know how to user Enterprise manager).  Pick up some pointers from HalfPriceHosting.com

I have multiple client sites on readyhosting.  Readyhosting seemed to good to be true and they were.  I have so many problems with them.  Most of them are repeat problems.  They fix it and the next day it's not working.
The features they offer are excellent.  I only wish they were reliable.
1. You will experience contant downtime.  Their statement of 99.9% uptime is an outright lie. I have a remote monitoring service and I get a little more than 75% uptime.
2. Forget about databases.  Your ODBC connections will disappear and have to be recreated.  Poor programmers on other sites hosted on the some server as you can use up all the database connections so your scripts can create a connection.
3. Frontpage server extensions are consistently getting messed up.  You will have to submit service request weekly to get the server extensions working so you can use Frontpage.

Unfortunately my sites and client sites are still hosted with then while I search for another hosting Provider.  Ready hosting looked good.  Unfortunately they have made my company look very bad.

They may be alright for a personal site but DO NOT use them for anything that requires reliability.  Do not be fooled by the offerings of readyhosting or their statements of reliability.  I recommend you look elsewhere and only use them if you have no other choices.

i've been with them for a week. it's been down 2 times since then. I think they have a 30 day money back guarentee. that's good. $99 year is too good to be true.

My site has been consistently down over last month with 404 on 30-50% of attempts. Tech support abysmal, all they do is apologize. Phone support not available evening/weekend. Uptime guarantee is a joke because they get to keep $50 nonref setup fee.

30 mins for phone support - daylight hours M-F only.  No good when the CF server goes down every other day when it gets dark.

They won't respond to any complaints.  The same problems occur again and again and again - so either bad training or high turnover.

Most techs are morons.  Our entire site is down for 12 hours as is their support section so we email them and get one back saying they fixed the server.  Our site is still down - too damned lazy to read what we wrote and look.

Cheap basic html though? They'll be fine.

If you're site is a business? Don't chance losing as much money as we have been.

I am looking for a host with ColdFusion/ASP/PHP/JSP available along with a low cost, .  ReadyHosting able to provide the program language I am look for (except JSP) with a low monthly cost ($8.25/month).  At the time I sign up they even pay for my domain fee with no setup fee (which run from $15 to $35 per year).  I think the deal has change, they still pay for your domain fee but you need to pay a one time setup fee for $50.  For the past 8 years, I have been with 6 different hosting comapany.  With the value of the package and price, readyhosting is a very good hosting company.

Site has gone down 3 times in the last week and a half. The first time they didn't even know. I thought these guys would carry pagers alerting them to down time.

Our network and support team monitor our entire network 24 hrs 7 days a week to ensure we are aware of any server issues that may arise. The staff rotates "on-call" duties and also carry pagers with them. Since pagers are not always 100% reliable they also have monitoring software available at all times to show status of the network. A website not being accessible does not always mean that the network the domain is residing on is down. It could mean router failure somewhere in-between.

I have only been with ReadyHosting for a short time now, but the quality of service I have received has been outstanding.  My emails are answered quickly and completely.  Albiet, I have not had any major problems yet, but the customer service with getting things set up has been very useful.  I would recommend this hosting service to anyone who is looking for a low cost Quality solution to their hosting service problems.

Have had them host my site for the last two years, and outside of sitting on hold for 10 minutes for tech support, have not had any problems. Have also moved quite a few of my new customers over to them for hosting. For the price, you can't go wrong.

With no web design experience, I had two days to register a domain and get a simple site up on the Internet.  ReadyHosting made that easy and fast.  Since then, I have expanded the website and become very reliant on the e-mail service.  ReadyHosting's Internet e-mail system is great and reliable (I like the interface better than Hotmail or Yahoo) and there is no limit on the size of my e-mail box (well, actually the limit is 500 Mb).  Of course I use POP to access my accounts as well.  For the past 6 months, I have had an independent service ping my site once an hour.  Every two weeks they send me a report: my site's uptime is consistently above 99.5%.  And I have never missed an e-mail.  The price is incredible and the service is great and features are astounding.  I do not hesitate to recommend ReadyHosting to everyone.

Readyhosting does not offer unlimited bandwith but unmetered bandwith (confusing hey ?)

My suggestion would be that you specify clearly to customers that ReadyHosting is not able to host website with medium traffic and you may consider my second suggestion of creating a new Plan including a broader bandwith.

The majority of my experience was with the email service which was FAR below expectations.  Our website is only a "business card" type website, so I dont have a lot of comments on the website-hosting portion of the company, but the email service was terrible.  In the first month of service, I submitted at least 6 tickets, all with basically the same details.  About once, sometimes twice a week, the email server would stop sending or receiving mail.  After submitting trouble tickets, normally I would get a reply somewhere along the lines of "someone used the same server you use for spamming..we are looking to correct it." And that was it.  Eventually the problem would cease, but it would come back again within 4-5 days. I have since switched to Verio.net for a host, which is considerably more expensive, but after my dealings with ReadyHosting, I've learned that "you get what you pay for" and in the case of ReadyHosting, I got cheap (both monetarily and quality-wise).
Do not use readyhosting if you require uptime.
